Our pick-up location is right along side the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan and Illinois St. Please note Michigan and Illinois has two levels, we are on the Upper level.
The one hour tour goes south bound on Michigan across the river over to Engine 13 on Columbus and Wacker. Then down Michigan pass the Millennium Park and Art Institute. From there we go to Buckingham Fountain down Columbus through Grant Park. Over to the Museum Campus past Monroe, Buckingham, and Dusabo harbors. Then we go down Lake Shore Dr, past Navy Pier and then the filtration plant. Then on Chicago we go east bound past the Museum of Contemporary Art, Senica Park, Northwest Memorial hospital, then Engine Company 98 and Ambulance 11. After that we go to the Water Tower and then south bound on Michigan on the Magnificent Mile.
The ninety minute tour includes the Robert J. Quinn (558 W. Dekoven) Fire academy. And the oldest active fire station in the City of Chicago Engine Company 18. Little Italy and part of the University of Illinois in Chicago.
