Dave Hampton, LEED AP, principal of Hampton Avery Architects and co-founder of Urban Habitat Chicago, leads this 2 hour walking tour of great buildings in the Loop. Experience the architecture of Chicago's past and present, imagine future possibilities and explore what 'green' meant a century ago, and how lessons from past eras might lead the way toward truly sustainable cities. The tour will visit the Art Institute of Chicago's Modern Wing, Chicago Cultural Center, Harold Washington Library, Hotel Burnham, Monadnock Building and the Railway Exchange (Santa Fe) Building, among others.
