Chicago Food Planet's signature Near North Food Tour includes mouth-watering food tastings, enough for lunch, from historic "mom and pop" specialty food shops and one-of-a-kind ethnic eateries, while offering a narrated glimpse into Chicago's rich history, treasured architecture, and dazzling restaurant recommendations. Acclaimed by food critics and national media, join us as we bring to life the local artisans and their foods that are revered throughout Chicago while we emphasize the histories of offbeat venues, hidden parks, and historic homes off-the-beaten-path.
Tour Information
- How long: Approximately 3 hours.
- What’s included: All the food tastings, enough for lunch.
- Who: All age groups and fitness levels.
- Capacity: 16 people per tour.
- What to wear: Comfortable clothing and shoes.
- Weather conditions: Tour takes place rain or shine.
All tastings are included in the price. Enough food is served that for most participants, lunch afterwards is not needed. Seating is not provided as we conduct tastings on the go.
