Snow Days Chicago is a free three-day winter festival on Michigan Avenue in Grant Park featuring a national snow sculpting competition, dog sled demonstrations, a snowboard rail jam and kids activities! Bring the whole family and watch as the city is transformed into a winter wonderland, showcasing over 27 beautiful and unique sculptures made entirely out of snow!

We encourage all visitors to use public transportation. With stops nearby, CTA buses and trains and Metra trains provide convenient alternatives to driving. The closest stops to the park include the "Harrison" Red Line, "LaSalle" Blue Line, "Library" Orange and Brown Lines, and Green, "Adams/Wabash" Green and Pink stops. There are also many Michigan Avenue bus lines that stop near Snow Days Chicago, including the 3 King Drive, 4 Cottage Grove, 7 Harrison, 126 Jackson and 147 Outer Express Drive.
