The response to the Winter session of classes has been overwhelming! All classes are closed with the exception of the following:
If your desired class is closed out, please call a few days before the scheduled date to check on openings or wait-lists. And plan to attend our Culinary Conversation: Sweet Chicago on February 29 with Rolf Achilles, Tim Samuelson, and chef Jenny Lewis, author of the book "Midwest Sweet Baking History”.

Explore Chicago's diverse cultural heritage through ethnic cuisines and focus on culinary skills and techniques in our state-of-the-art World Kitchen facility. World Kitchen offers opportunities to experience the true pleasures of food as nourishment for the body as well as art for the soul. Food industry professionals share their expertise with students at any level of cooking experience.
All classes take place at 66 East Randolph, lower level. Classes begin promptly and are hands-on. Please wear appropriate clothing and non-skid shoes; bring an apron if desired. Students must be 16 years or older. Pre-registration is required and can be made online, by phone or in person.
To register, call the hotline at 312-742-TIXS or visit the ticket office located in the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street. The box office is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 4pm. You can also register online. Upon availability, registration links are located at the bottom of each class listing.
Cancellations and Refunds
World Kitchen reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason and/or if the number of students has not met minimum requirements 3 days prior to the class. Full refunds will be given if the World Kitchen cancels a class. Class participants must give notice of cancellation 7 days prior to the class for a full refund. You may send a substitute in your place if you cannot attend. Please phone the box office to cancel.
