Film [Chicago Cultural Center]

A variety of free films and film series are presented at the Chicago Cultural Center by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and collaborating organizations.

ITVS Community Cinema is a monthly screening series showcasing the Emmy Award-winning PBS series, Independent Lens.

Another series that has been presented during the summers for several years is Cinema/Chicago's Summer Screenings Program of international films. The program casts a spotlight on a country's national cinema, and works to expose people to various viewpoints and to reveal the artistic sensibilities of many cultures through film.

Admission is free.
