Art Exhibitions & Events [Chicago Cultural Center]

Find These Events

At the Chicago Cultural Center, staff and guest curators work with artists to organize dozens of new exhibitions every year of works such as painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, crafts, architecture and design. Major traveling exhibitions are also exhibited in the Cultural Center. Related lectures, panel discussions and gallery talks are scheduled. Galleries are located on the first, second and fourth floors.

Located on the first floor of the Chicago Cultural Center is Project Onward, which supports the creative growth of visual artists with mental and developmental disabilities. Project Onward provides studio and shop space, art supplies, and professional guidance to emerging artists in a communal workshop environment.

Admission to the exhibitions and related events is free.
