Great Performers of Illinois is an annual festival in Millennium Park that celebrates best of art and culture in the State of Illinois, presented by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Bureau of Tourism; the Chicago Office of Tourism; the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council.
This year's 5th annual festival will be held Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11, and will feature music of all genres, square-dancing, Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln impersonators roving the park, a life-sized maze made of real cornstalks, and a host of other interactive activities for all ages, including a special visit by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum from Springfield, Illinois. Join us for free wine tastings from Illinois vintners, and a marketplace of Illinois artisanal crafts and local foods and products.
