Black History Month events in the parks

Throughout the month of February, the Chicago Park District hosts a variety of events to celebrate African American heritage and culture, including our well known Umoja and Ashaki celebrations. Come out and celebrate Black History Month in the parks!

Many of the events are family focused, and are free or very affordable.  For a complete list of all the Black History month events taking place in the parks, go here.
