 Lake View Music Fest—sponsored by the Lake View Citizens' Council—is literally held in the shadow of the world-famous Wrigley Field in the Wrigleyville neighborhood, one of Chicago’s most popular residential districts and home to many of the city's hottest entertainment venues.
The fest features two days of continuous live music with top-name national acts as headliners. Some of the more prominent bands that have played this festival include: The Fixx, Eve 6, Hot Hot Heat, 10,000 Maniacs, Marcy Playground and Hometown Hero.
One of the fest’s biggest assets is its location: the densely-populated neighborhood assures a large and demographically hot attendance. Lake View Music Fest is truly a reflection of the lifestyle of this area but also draws attendees from all over the city who come to enjoy this classic urban festival with food and drink from the neighborhood's legendary bars and restaurants and the goods of area merchants.
