Cabaret returns to Millennium Park this winter with the popular series, Cabaret with a View, where audiences have a chance to sit on the enclosed stage of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion to experience music in an intimate setting and a climate controlled environment. Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture, the series continues Monday, March 12, 2012 at 7:30 PM with an exploration of yearning, hope, and resolve in Pauk Oakley Stovall's 'The Next Best Thing to Love..."
Jay Pritzker Pavilion’s stage level seats include two complimentary drinks with a $25 ticket purchase. Choral Balcony seats are available for $15 (drinks not included).

As an actor, Chicago audiences have seen Paul Oakley Stovall in Play On!, Rent (National Tour) and in Mary Zimmerman's works—Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci, Journey to the West and The Odyssey. He has appeared in works at Court Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, About Face Theatre and at New York’s Lincoln Center. His new musical, Clear, was developed at the Tony Award-winning Eugene O’Neill National Music Theatre Conference and has been performed at About Face Theatre's XYZ Festival in Chicago and Joe's Pub and Dixon Place in New York. This June, Stovall’s play Immediate Family will be produced at the Goodman's Owen Theatre. Paul Oakley Stovall appears in Cabaret with a View with musical director Brad Simmons, who is also the arranger, musical director and co-star of Clear.
