We continue to add new products to our shelves weekly. Here are a few of our most recent additions:

  • Filbert's Old Fashioned Flavors - This third generation Bridgeport family-owned company has been making root beer, ginger ale, and other beverages since 1926.
  • Phoenix Tofu - Located in Chicago's Argyle neighborhood, Jenny Yang's artisanal tofu is made from GMO-free soybeans and comes in a number of styles, including her delicious tofu noodles.
  • Better Whey of Life Yogurt - Daphne Mazarakis' nonfat yogurt is packed with protein and comes in five different flavors.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in Partnership with Genesis Growers

Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand is thrilled to be a CSA drop off point in the Loop. Our farming partner in this effort is Vicki Westerhoff of Genesis Growers, from St. Anne, Illinois.

Genesis Growers farms 20 acres in fertile north-central Illinois using a natural method: no pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizer. The result is naturally healthy soil that yields fresh, nutritious and tasty crops.  Crops are picked only at the peak of their flavor and freshness.

Farmstand customers can sign up for shares of Vicki’s crops in two different sizes for spring, summer, and fall seasons (either separate signups or a combination). Dropoffs will be each Wednesday.
