Chicago's Downtown Farmstand
Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand, located at 66 East Randolph Street, opened in October 2008. The Farmstand’s promise – local, delicious, and edible – is fulfilled by hundreds of products, all from within 250 miles of Chicago.
Local doesn’t just mean locally grown – in addition to sustainably grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs in season (including many organic items), Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand features a broad selection of edibles produced throughout the region. Each day, a wide range of dairy products, condiments, seasonings, preserves, breakfast favorites, baked goods, and other items arrive at our location. Click here to see what you might find.
Many Farmstand items help support local causes in the area. Click here to learn more about these and other special initiatives. In addition to selling individual items, the Farmstand serves as a downtown hub for the local food experience. Lunchtime programs on Wednesdays and Fridays feature cooking demonstrations of easy-to-make recipes using what is newest and freshest that day, or tastings of specialties from local food artisans. Stop by Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand today!

Spotlight on Chicago's Ethnic Neighborhoods and Cuisines
A special feature of the Farmstand, Local Flavors, highlights different ethnic communities of Chicago each month with favorites from local neighborhood markets. Chicago's South Asian community along Devon Avenue is the feature of the month, with samosas, flatbreads and snacks from Kamdar Plaza available for purchase through the end of July. Farmstand vendors will also offer South Asian spices, desserts and produce this month.
