Thillens Stadium

For more than 65 years, Thillens Stadium has hosted Little League games for Chicago youth, including the Chicago Park District's Inner City Little League.

In 2005 Thillens was at risk of shutting down when the Thillens Family foundation, which ran the stadium for more than 60 years, announced it was no longer able to fund the stadium. That year, the Chicago Park District assumed the land lease and accepted a donation to support this stadium from one of our long-time partners, the Chicago Cubs organization.

Thanks to the support of the Cubs, the Chicago Park District is able to continue the tradition of offering an amazing baseball experience for both the players and spectators at Thillens Stadium.
