The Poetry of Death

Morbid Curiosity The Richard Harris Collection
The Poetry of Death

Artists have been writing about death and mortality since the beginning of time.  Submit your “deathless prose” inspired by Morbid Curiosity to our poetry competition.  Five poems will be selected by a jury of poetry professionals for an evening of readings in the GAR Rotunda. All aesthetics, styles, and interpretations--from the contemplative to the comic--are welcome. Winning entries will be read at the Cultural Center on Thursday, May 3 at 6pm. Winners will also be featured in ChicagoPublishes.com

The deadline to submit entries is 5pm on March 1, 2012.
