Chicago Farmers Markets - Chicago Farmers Markets bring more than 70 vendors to neighborhoods throughout the city, selling fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, flowers and more.

Mayor Daley’s Jumping Jack Program - Mayor Daley’s Jumping Jack Program brings FREE inflatable playgrounds to more than 2,000 community events including block parties, schools and family reunions each year.

As part of Mayor Daley’s initiative to provide family-friendly activities during the winter months, Snow Days Chicago brings an exciting outdoor alternative to enjoy Chicago’s winter season.

Attendees can watch student teams and professional snow sculptors transform blocks of packed snow into imaginative works of art. Competition gets fierce as teams work into the night to complete the sculptures in time for the People’s Choice contest, as well as cash prizes determined by expert judges. Additional attractions include a snowboarding demonstration and competition, dog sled racing demonstrations and a programming tent.
