Event Programming

The Mayor's Office of Special Events is a city office designed to present public programs all year round.

Each program is coordinated by a staff member. The office produces the programs by utilizing the resources available to the office via marketing and operations. The programming coordinates all efforts related to the event or festival including booking performances, organizing operations, faciliating sponsor partner participation and assisting in promotion. The coordinator collaborates within the office as well as brings an inter agency team together. The team consists of other city departments as well as bringing in many civic groups together to access all community interests in the production of the city run events.
