Play On Cabaret presents some of Chicago's finest musical talent, including singers of the Great American Songbook and a wide variety of blues, jazz and instrumental interpretations. Many of the past events were tributes by some of today’s great singers to some of yesterday’s greats: Suzanne Petri / Marlena Dietrich; KT McHammond / Eartha Kit; Bob Moreen / Fred Astaire; MaryMonica Thomas / Chita Rivera; Jeanne Scherkenbach / Kate Smith. Other frequent performers include Audrey Morris, Beckie Menzie and Tom Michael, Spider Saloff, and others.
