History of Maxim's

The brochure about Maxim’s: The Nancy Goldberg International Center in the PDF was published by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs in 2001. It includes an article about Nancy Goldberg’s Maxim’s de Paris that was originally published in The Reader on March 12, 1982 entitled “Some Like It Haute” by Don Rose, a qastronome, restaurant reviewer and political pundit. The article describes the ups and downs of the glamorous restaurant, and draws parallels in its history to that of its Paris namesake.
