Walk down an elegant spiral staircase to make a dramatic entrance into your wedding or special event at Maxim’s, a one-of-a-kind location in Chicago. Your guests will delight in its elegant art nouveau decor ― plush red banquettes, glistening inlays of brass and stained glass, scroll work, and rich mahogany paneling ― which duplicates the famous Parisian restaurant.
Chicago’s Maxim’s was opened as a restaurant in 1963 by socialite Nancy Goldberg. The romantic new restaurant quickly became one of the places for celebrities and Chicago’s elite to see and be seen. Now this special place is available for private events, such as weddings, receptions and parties.
Hosts Allen Nichols and Chalida Tangsurat provide warm, personal attention to help you explore the entertaining options allowed by Maxim's layout and plan every detail of your special event. During your event, they will be there to make sure everything goes just as planned.
