Live at Maxim's

Known for his gravelly voice and dry humor, Rick Kogan hosts Live at Maxim's, talking one-on-one with musicians, authors and Chicago notables. Rick is the host of "Sunday Papers with Rick Kogan" (6:30–9 am Sundays, WGN 720 AM) and senior writer and “Sidewalks” columnist for the Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine. Live at Maxim’s will be recorded and excerpts will be played on "Sunday Papers." Some of Rick’s many guests at Maxim’s were authors Studs Terkel, Karen Abbott and Audrey Niffenegger, musician Buddy Charles, broadcast journalist Janet Davies, The Apprentices’ Bill Rancic, actor Mike Leonard and singer Bonnie Koloc.

After each public event at Maxim’s, located at 24 E. Goethe Street, the audience is invited to the Pump Room, just a few steps away, for complimentary hors d'oeuvres, half-price drinks, and the chance to see another of Chicago's celebrated nightspots.
