Wicker Park. Fantastic shopping and terrific food!

Where do you like to go for fun?

Because I work 12-hour days, a trip to the spa at The Peninsula is an entire day of fun.

Favorite restaurant?

Primehouse David Burke in the James Hotel.

Favorite summertime activity?

Soaking up the gorgeous weather at the rooftop lounge at Sushi Samba or people-watching on the sidewalk patio at Tavern on Rush.

Where do you like to bring visiting friends or out-of-town guests?

Michigan Avenue. They can shop all day and in between shopping have lunch at Bandera, a quick snack at Garrett’s famous popcorn stand and go to RL for dinner.

Describe your favorite Chicago Urban Adventure

I start with breakfast at Feast, followed by a morning full of shopping on Damen Avenue in Wicker Park. Then I hop in the car and head to Whole Foods on North Avenue to pick-up a few items for a late afternoon picnic on the lawn at the Shedd Aquarium. After basking in the sunshine for a few hours, I head to Wrigley Field to meet up with friends for an evening Cubs game.
