What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
My favorite thing about Chicago is the vibrant arts and cultural scene. We have great museums and galleries, as well as world-class, innovative theatre and dance companies.

Who are some of your favorite local performers or performing arts groups?
Hubbard Street Dance, the Joffrey Ballet, Court Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Curious Theatre, Collaboraction, Julia Rhoads and Lucky Plush Productions, and Andrew Bird.

What is your favorite neighborhood and why?
Wicker Park and Bucktown are fantastic neighborhoods for shopping. I also love Andersonville for the casual dining – and the Italian pastry at Pasticceria Natalina.

Where do you like to bring visiting friends or out-of-town guests?
Museum campus, the MCA, Grant Park, and the Art Institute. The architectural river tours are always a favorite among visitors.

Where do you like to go for fun?
I enjoy walking on the lakefront, Museum Campus, and the Art Institute, and I love to BBQ in my backyard with friends.

Favorite Chicago tradition?
Chicago’s summertime street fairs are always a great time. And, of course, I love Chicago-style pizza!
