Maple Syrup Festival

Tap into Sap at the 29th annual Maple Syrup Festival at North Park Village Nature Center, March 20 & 21. During the free two-day festival visitors can enjoy music and storytelling, try tapping a tree, watch the sap boil and sample real maple syrup, go on a guided nature walk and shop the farmer’s market.

Billy Elliot Opens March 18

Sir Elton John’s new Broadway musical, Billy Elliot, opens March 18 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts / Oriental Theater. Based on the international smash-hit film, the critically acclaimed musical is the winner of 10 Tony Awards, and was hailed by the New York Post as ‘the best show you’ll ever see”.
