13th Annual Lincoln Park Art Faire

The 13th annual Lincoln Park Art Faire takes place September 11 & 12 at the Lincoln Park Cultural Center. Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase a variety of original artwork from more than 100 vendors specializing in hand-made woodworking, jewelry, pottery and stained glass, along with original paintings and photographs. This two day art faire also features an open-air studio, live music and food.

Stars of Lyric Opera at Millennium Park

Saturday, September 11, enjoy a grand night of singing with some of opera’s most famous stars — many of them featured in Lyric Opera’s fabulous 2010-11 season. See Thomas Hampson, Nadja Michael, Štefan Kocán, Dimitri Pittas and more in a glorious concert dedicated to the men and women of the United States Armed Services. Sir Andrew Davis conducts the Lyric Opera Orchestra.
